Benfield Photography (Did I mention I love this guy? He's really freaking good, and inspires me daily with his amazing work.) is offering a photography workshop for Moms and Dads, and anyone else who wants to learn. Its their Shoot Your Kids workshop, and let me tell you, it is AMAZING! How do I know? I attended last year's workshop! They teach you everything, from how to use your camera and it's unique settings, to how to capture your subject, to how to edit your images in photoshop. They even give you the hookup with a great online printing company (Mpix) for all of those images!
So, here's the scoop.
When is it?
Saturday July 10th, 2010; 10am - 3:30pm (lunch provided)
Who is it for?
Moms, duh! And also, beginning photographers. Bring your cameras and learn how to use them!
Where is it?
In downtown Fayetteville again, just like last time
How much is it?
$99
Is it worth it?
Heck yeah! Here's what a couple attendees for last time said:
"Had SO much fun at the workshop! I cannot wait to shoot some cheerleading pics this afternoon and edit them! Before the class I was scared to use Photoshop Elements... now, I'm excited about it! Thanks for making it a great experience! I cannot wait for the next class!" - Tiffany
"Just wanted to thank the both of you for a great workshop. I was so pleasantly surprised that you were able to teach to many different levels - from my mom with her point-and-shoot camera to my (limited) DSLR knowledge - we all walked away with new tricks we couldn't wait to use! Thanks for staying after to answer one-on-one questions, and for your delicious dinner recommendation. Fayetteville is lovely, and your class was packed with fun and tons of information. I couldn't have planned a better mom-and-the-girls weekend if I tried!" - Jennifer
"I just wanted to send a quick note thanking you for the AMAZING workshop on Saturday. My husband kept asking me how it went and I just kept saying, “my mind is officially blown!” Not only did I have SO much fun, but I still can’t get over how much I learned. I’ve been using my camera for about 9 months and learned more about the functions and capabilities of my camera in your one-day workshop than I EVER would have been able to figure out on my own. I left on Saturday with a whole new appreciation for photography as well as a desire to keep learning. I HOPE HOPE HOPE you’ll decide to do more workshops like this…..consider me signed up!" - Laura
